Quote of the Week: Ludwig Wittgenstein

Ludwig Wittgenstein is considered to be one of the greatest philosophers of the modern era. Austrian-British philosopher who worked primarily in logic, the philosophy of mathematics, the philosophy of mind, and the philosophy of language.

If you are a serious student of the Mystery Performances, you understand the fundamental importance of language and conversation. You can be an expert of sleight of hand, or the owner of the best electronic gimmicks available in the market, but if you dont know how to enchant others with your words, you will lose potential to reach new levels in your performance.

Reality manifests through language, that means that the deeper your language, the deeper reality becomes. Learning new languages is not about learning spanish if you are a native english-speaker, but to learn new words, polish your understandings and integrate new paradigms that can open for you new spaces of reality.

As an example, in "Telepathic Artifacts" I mention the original meaning of "telepathy", that as soon as you can truly grasp, you will change your mind about the mindreading experience that we can facilitate for others.

Your mind is the space of mental functions, and in a way we are our own translators. That is why language is so relevant not just in performance but for ourselves. The deeper our observation is, the deeper we can improve our mindset.
Expand your understandings, expand your realities.

The invitation for this week is to observe your conversations, polish your language, and transform your life.
