Quote of the Week: Joseph Dunninger

What a beautiful idea from the "Amazing Dunninger", sound like a joke buy hides a powerful piece of wisdom.

Mentalism, as any activity based on skill, can be learned by anyone really but the true difference, as in any artform, is the  understanding that only the ones that are "natural" can reach.

I know people that rationally know a lot of technique and history but they cant perform. They cant find that authenticity that other people with less knowing can get, and thats fine. You dont need to be a Mentalist, maybe your path is being a Magician or other Mystery Performance, or no one at all, but in order to reach your potential you need to be like a child.

A child is open to just play without any other goal than just play. A powerful innocence that brings the realistic fictions that we can create in this art. The ability to create wonders for others, curiosity, imagination and real exploration into the mysteries of the mind are the common factors in all Mentalists.

Explore your possibilities, get knowledge but most important, experience.

If you are interested in this type of reflections I invite you to your Mentalism Course and The Path of Mystery
