Mentalism is a wonderful art and discipline to explore but it also has a huge shadow of egotistical importance. As soon as you feel more powerful than other, we need to always remember these words from Richard.
You are not more or less than your participant and audience. You know the secret but without them you are just someone that knows something cool. Thanks to them you are a performer, thanks to them the experience of Mentalism is created.
Ego inflation is real but is not the only reality. Some greats "names" are full of themselves, and thats part of the journey for sure, but the really great human beings in Mentalism are even greater for their humble attitude, and Richard is one of them.
Being confident and secure is fantastic, but being arrogant is a vice that we need to discern.
