Quote of the Week: Bob Cassidy

(Words from his essential work  Fundamentals

Your audience deserve not just a well crafted set of methods and techniques but a performance, and that experience go beyond tricks.

The only way to reach excellence in your Outer Reality of interaction and conversations is the excellence in your Inner Reality. If you are still thinking in performance about your "moves" or your "gimmick" you are simply exposing methods onstage. If you dont allow all that basic work be part of your subconscious actions, you will show your audience a rehearsal and not a well crafted performance.

They want to know YOU, not just what you do, and your persona onstage goes beyond your secret techniques. Thats only the beginning.

Thats why the "Star Cycle" (From "The Path of Mystery") is so relevant to understand and integrate. Practice is not the same as rehearsal. As soon as you mastered all basic aspects of your methods and techniques, you can focus in your authentic delivery onstage. Now you can perform without audience (in your mind and/or in a physical manner) so you can really offer your best.

Excellence is not only possible but essential.

Thanks Bob for your legacy
