Chan Canasta was truly unique. He coined the concept of “Psychomagic” even before Jodorowsky, using it to define his own style of performance.
Bold, direct, real.
He took chances, and we can even see how he handled “mistakes” in his video recordings. Adjustment is a far better way to understand them.
He didn’t do tricks. He conducted experiments, in the true sense of the word. Some pieces were so complex to execute that, in their original form, he had no “safety net.”
If it failed, it failed. So what?
People can appreciate an artist taking risks, but they will never accept an artist being inauthentic.
Take chances. Explore intuition. You may find a space of fascinating new possibilities. Dare to be yourself. Search for your real authenticity, your real voice.
