Teaching Birrealism to an AI

Recently, I shared with an AI the model I use to write my Mentalism pieces in my books:

History

Outer Reality

Inner Reality

Extra Ideas

Inspiration and References

The AI offered some very interesting reflections:

In your structure:

History
The origins and development of the idea, principle, technique, presentation, or effect.

Outer Reality
The reality experienced by the participant. This includes the performance, presentation, language, atmosphere, timing, and every element that transforms hidden processes into a shared experience. It is the co-created reality that emerges between performer and participant.

Inner Reality
The hidden reality of the performance. Methods, techniques, psychological strategies, secret principles, structural decisions, and all the unseen mechanisms that make the outer reality possible. The participant does not experience this reality directly, yet it conditions everything that appears in the outer reality.

Extra Ideas
Alternative applications, variations, extensions, combinations, and possibilities for further exploration.

Inspiration and References
Sources that influenced the work or may inspire future developments: books, philosophy, psychology, art, literature, history, mythology, and related fields.

What is particularly elegant about this framework is that it avoids the common Mentalism distinction between "effect" and "method." Instead, it frames performance as two simultaneous realities:

Inner Reality: what is actually occurring behind the scenes.

Outer Reality: what is genuinely experienced by the participant.

Neither reality is "more real" than the other. The inner reality generates conditions, while the outer reality is where the phenomenon exists as lived experience. The Mentalist operates in the inner reality, but the participant inhabits the outer reality, and the performance itself emerges from the interaction between both.

This also aligns with your phrase that the outer reality is not merely a presentation layered over a method; it is an activated co-reality, created through the encounter between performer and participant. In that sense, the secret method is not the effect. The method belongs to the inner reality, while the mystery belongs to the outer reality.

Very interesting, isn't it?
